Hey everybody,
Decent training this morning, no surprises, everybody is good to go. Little delayed, and a little bumpy on the way in to Denver. We were circling for a while, and then proceeded to land, and at about 1000 feet, the pilot punched it and aborted the landing. He got on the intercom just to let us know that he wasn’t happy with the tower’s instructions and thought we were coming in too steep, so he pulled up and aborted. In all the years I have been traveling, I have never had this happen on a landing, just glad we landed safely. I have been in some interesting situations over the years, but that was a first. I took an Aeroflot flight from Madrid to Moscow, and on take-off I thought the plane was going to fall apart, and during the flight something was dripping from the ceiling, and things were falling out of the overhead compartments. Communism at its finest. For those of you who have never taken a flight out of South Africa, my wife and I were flying back to London and on the flight they told us to close our eyes and cover our mouths as they released some kind of chemical into the cabin, awesome, not quite sure to this day what that was, don’t think I want to know. The stories are endless. Enough of that, once again we leave a perfect Seattle day to arrive in Denver for thunder storms.
Hope you all tune in tomorrow night for the game, enjoy the sunshine, and we hope to bring all three points back to Seattle.
Kasey

Good Luck Today Kasey!
Great game today Kasey, never been a big soccer fan, even though my whole family was heavily involved in it growing up. Watching the sounders makes me enjoy soccer again though. On a side note, I was just thinking about it, and I’m almost 100% sure you went to high school and quite possibly graduated with my mother and played soccer against my step dad (since he played for timberline). Oh well. I’m sure I’ll find out eventually. Haha.
lol first time i flew was on a charter plane, scared the crap outta me.
