Hey everybody,
Today was a fun day at training. We (the goalkeepers) started with our normal warm-up / training day. We joined the field players for some 6 v 6 games, but with a little twist. The teams were picked out of a hat, then players were randomly changed for each game. Individual players were judged on a point system based on their teams results. My teams went 1-1-1 , which was somewhere in the middle. Only one player lost all three games. A couple of players finished with two wins and a draw. A lot of fun because as a player you have to adapt to different roles and with different groups of players. Great exercise! Takes some planning from the coaching staff and tells them subtle characteristics about each player. Of all the coaches and teams I have played for over the years this is the first time I have participated in this drill. Just goes to show you are never too old or experienced to learn new things. It is always nice when you can have a day at work where you learn something new and have a good time.
Having fun with the car! So far so good! Looks like the mechanics did a good job. Had the sunroof open cruising around enjoying the day. Hard to keep from getting in trouble, this car just wants to drive fast. It is still longing for its time driving 170mph on the German Autobahn. I miss that road everyday!
Have fun in the sun tomorrow, and its not paranoia if they are really out to get you!
Kasey

Gotta ask, Kasey…what sort of kickass (German?) car should we be watching pass us by on the freeways with you behind the wheel?
I am really interested in what kind of car it is you have. Could you put a picture of it on the blog, or at least say what the brand/model of it is.
Good Luck this weekend.
