Getting ready for Saturday

Hey everybody,

A week of good training is coming to an end.   After a couple of hard days on Monday and Tuesday, a good day off was well received on Wednesday.  In today’s training the team looked rested and focused,  ready for the challenge down in LA.  No time like the weekend to get our second away win of the season.  I’m sure Sigi is willing us to do a number on his old employer who unceremoniously dismissed him a few years back.  I for one would love to help him achieve this goal.  Having played a few times against my old teams I can relate to wanting to do well in these games.

Made an appearance today for Puma out at the Snohomish United tournament.  Helped judge a great skills comp and signed a lot of autographs.  It was great to get out and see the kids in their element on the pitch.  Sounders fans everywhere!  Thanks for the great reception and good luck in your games over the weekend.

Lets hope the next update is full of praise for all the goals we scored against LA.

    Great singing? haha, looking forward to THAT! what is the overall attitude in the locker room right now given the recent slump?

    Kasey,
    Long time fan of yours & USMNT. I just want to say that SSFC has to be the luckiest team in MLS to have aquired your services. You’ve been incredible in goal for us this year. I look forward to seeing & cheering you from 145 for the remainder of this season & next & hopefully more. You haven’t lost much my friend. Experience & positioning more than make up for a “step”

    Hi kasey,
    First, I hope you thanked the away support. I really hope that matters for all the players. But SECOND. We brought a giant contingent to the bar to celebrate the game, and it was BOOOOOM. I’ve never had so much fun watching a TV in my life. I think we did 13 rounds of “We are the Blue!!”

    Just imagine the enthusiasm of the south end packed into a bar. Win or lose… or go scoreless for 5 games, we support you. We love you, and that’s why we sing…
