Hey Everybody
So here we go again! Another game another draw. When asked how I feel about 5 draws in a row, all I can say it is better than 5 losses in a row and not as good as 5 wins in a row. Once again lots of talking points. Another red card, one of the best goals you will see all season, a missed penalty, chances to win the game and chances to lose the game. If you are a neutral fan you can’t say that our games aren’t entertaining. The big question is how can we change these draws into wins? The million dollar question! Everyone has their own ideas and you know what they say about opinions, everybody has one. I’m no different, but all I can do is control the controllables. You may ask what does that mean? I’m not the coach, I’m not the GM, I’m not the ownership. I’m the team captain and the Goalkeeper. I do my job to the best of my ability, I try to help the players around me be better, I lead by example. I’m sure some of you are as frustrated with some of the recent results just as I am, but you have to admit it has been a pretty damn good start!
I was asked the question why some games long pants and why some games shorts? I have worn shorts on the grass pitches and long pants on the artificial surfaces. The artificial is better than it used to be, but I still like the skin on my body where it belongs. I don’t want to get into a situation where I might think before I react because of what might happen to my skin if I were wearing shorts on the turf. This might change if the weather gets too hot but for now it has worked out pretty well.
Looks like a great week of weather is coming our way. For once the sunshine is going stick around while I’m actually going to be around for the week. Maybe it will start raining when we leave this weekend for LA? Have fun in the sun Seattle!

I hear ya man, turf can really mess the legs up. good game keep up the great work.
I see nobody makes comments on Kasey’s blog? Is it like talking to the wizard behind the curtain? What the heck happened on the red card incident?! Marshall didn’t deny the punch, but I haven’t seen any video of it. What did the ref say – he seemed a bit of a wanker actually with all the time wasting going on. What did the ref say?
hey where was your gum last game? everytime i see you on TV your chewing gum. what kind of gum do you use when you play by the way?????
Kasey,
Thank you for working so hard at what you do. Most of the last 5 draws would be loses if not for your efforts. Of course every one would love more points, but don’t let draws discourage the team.
Best of luck in LA against the goats.

you can do no wrong. you are a god. that’s all there is to it.
p.s. join my campaign to have the white house invite barca to congratulate them on their brilliant win in roma. i am writing letters daily (whitehouse.gov) but i am just some dame from washington, whereas YOU are kasey keller, Football Deity. pretty please, everybody write!
From my humble perspective, it appears that through this stretch of draws, the fast-paced, aggressive style of play from the beginning of the year has been slightly diminished. As a question to you, one of my favorite players ever, would you agree with that statement, and if so, can it be attributed to the ever-changing lineup or has the team simply settled into more of a routine than early on, or have the opposing teams done more to negate that style of play? I love the team and enjoy watching every week, I’m just curious to hear what you think.
Thanks for your time and the wonderful blog,
Casey from Puyallup
